Fit last four parts of astrolabe to move round (4)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

able

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'fit last four' is the definition.
'able' can be an answer for 'fit' (I've seen this before). I am not certain of the 'last four' bit.

'parts of astrolabe to move round' is the wordplay.
'parts of' says to take the initial letters (I've seen 'part' mean this).
'to' means one lot of letters go next to another.
'move round' becomes 'ble' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
The initial letter of 'astrolabe' is 'a'.
'a'+'ble'='ABLE'

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for able that I've seen before include "Practised" , "In a position or competent to" , "- -bodied; - seaman" , "Adept" , "Qualified - expert" .)

I've seen this clue in The Times.
