Friendly, even with cold interior (8)
I believe the answer is:
amicable
'friendly' is the definition.
(associated in meaning)
'even with cold interior' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'cold' could be 'c' (eg on taps) and 'c' is present in the answer.
The remaining letters 'amiable' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for amicable that I've seen before include "Friendly, peaceable" , "Friendly, peaceful" , "In friendly spirit" , "Of friendly disposition, good-natured" , "Friendly, nonthreatening" .)
