Full pelt, running through endless grass (7)
I believe the answer is:
replete
'full' is the definition.
('replete' can be a synonym of 'full')
'pelt running through endless grass' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
an anagram of 'pelt' is 'plet' which is present in the answer.
The remaining letters 'ree' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for replete that I've seen before include "Well-fed" , "Chock-a-block" , "Filled, well supplied" , "charged" , "Well stocked or gorged" .)
