I cannot quite see how this works, but
'stretch' could be 'eke' (I've seen this in another clue) and 'eke' is located in the answer.
'again' could be 're' (prefix meaning 'again') and 're' is located in the answer.
A single letter 'd' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
