Gone climbing after yen for spiritual relaxation? (4)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

yoga

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'spiritual relaxation?' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot see how one could define the other.

'gone climbing after yen' is the wordplay.
'gone' becomes 'ago' (I've seen this in another clue).
'climbing' says the letters should be written backwards (in a down clue, letters climb up).
'after' is a charade indicator (letters next to each other).
'yen' becomes 'y' (resembles the symbol for the currency of Japan).
'ago' written backwards gives 'oga'.
'oga' after 'y' is 'YOGA'.

'for' acts as a link.

(Other definitions for yoga that I've seen before include "Relaxing Hindu spiritual discipline" , "Eastern discipline" , "Hindu postural discipline" , "System of exercises for bodily or mental control" , "Hindu physical and mental exercises" .)

I've seen this clue in The Times.
