Guardian concocted non-U type of dressing (2,4)
I believe the answer is:
in drag
'type of dressing' is the definition.
I cannot understand how the rest of the clue works.
(Other definitions for in drag that I've seen before include "Man wearing female dress" , "dressed like a queen" , "Daring (anag)" .)
I've seen this clue in The Guardian.
