Harass forest dweller (6)
I believe the answer is:
badger
This might be a double definition.
'harass' is the first definition.
(I know that badger is a more specific form of bedevil)
'forest dweller' is the second definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot see how they can define each other.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for badger that I've seen before include "One tagging" , "Beast blamed for TB" , "Animal hunted by stocky dog" , "Black and white burrowing mammal" , "Animal at home in a sett" .)
