I know nothing about this answer so I can't tell whether this works.

I cannot really understand how this works, but
'some' could be 'a' and 'a' is present in the answer.
'training' could be 'oncourse' (on a training course) and 'oncourse' is located in the remaining letters.
'golf' could be 'g' (phonetic alphabet: alpha, bravo, charlie etc.) and 'g' is found in the answer.
A single letter 'o' remains which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
