'archangel' can be an answer for 'russia' (I've seen this before). I am not certain of the 'port in' bit.
'heavenly body' is the wordplay.
'heavenly' becomes 'arch' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'body' becomes 'angel' (I have seen 'Heavenly body ' mean 'angel' so perhaps 'body' could also mean 'angel').
