I believe the answer is:

ashore

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'again' is the definition.
Both the answer and definition are adverbs. Perhaps there's a link between them I don't understand?

'home from sea has been playing round' is the wordplay.
'home' becomes 'HO' (abbreviation for house).
'from' indicates an anagram (from the letters).
'has' means one lot of letters goes inside another.
'been playing' becomes 'r' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'round' means one lot of letters goes inside another.
'sea' is an anagram of 'ase'.
'ase' going around 'r' is 'asre'.
'ho' put within 'asre' is 'ASHORE'.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for ashore that I've seen before include "on the coast" , "Beached" , "Aground" , "beach" , "Onto land (from the water)" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
