House easily built before cracking (6)
I believe the answer is:
prefab
'house' is the definition.
(I have seen 'Temporary house ' mean 'prefab' so perhaps 'house' could also mean 'prefab')
'easily built before cracking' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'before' could be 'pre' (prefix meaning 'before') and 'pre' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'fab' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for prefab that I've seen before include "Sort of building" , "House constructed away from site" , "Building assembled from manufactured parts, in short" , "Ready-made building" , "Building up, quickly" .)
