Hurries around to get drone stalkers used now and then (7)
I believe the answer is:
beetles
'hurries around' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are verbs in their -s form, I don't understand how one could define the other.
'drone stalkers used now and then' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'drone' could be 'bee' (I've seen this in another clue) and 'bee' is found within the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'to get' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for beetles that I've seen before include "Bet eels could turn into insects" , "Lets bee turn to insects" , "Four-winged insects" .)
