I, at the office, help with the turnover (5)
I believe the answer is:
india
'i' is the definition.
(India is I in the NATO phonetic alphabet)
'at the office help with the turnover' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'at' could be 'in' (synonymous in some cases - eg at school, in school) and 'in' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'dia' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for india that I've seen before include "One preceding Juliet" , ""Bharat", locally" , "Territory" , "Country of the Ganges" , "Sub-continental country" .)
