I think I’m in the wrong dance (6-2)
I believe the answer is:
excuse-me
'dance' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'i think i'm in the wrong' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'i' could be 'me' and 'me' is found in the answer.
'wrong' could be 'x' (X is used to mark something as incorrect) and 'x' is located in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for excuse-me that I've seen before include "Dance where one takes another's partner" , "Dance where partners swapped" , "Apology for breaking in - dance" , "Phrase to catch attention or apologise" , "Polite request (for partner?)" .)
