Ill-temper obscuring last of fun in UK summertime celebration (7)
I believe the answer is:
jubilee
'celebration' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'ill-temper obscuring last of fun in uk summertime' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'temper' could be 'bile' (I've seen this in another clue) and 'bile' is present in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for jubilee that I've seen before include "SECOND PART OF 15" , "Anniversary celebration (25th or 50th?)" , "following 28 [SILVER]" , "Sort of clip" , "Celebration of 50th year" .)
