'entertainers' is the definition.
(singer is a kind of entertainer)

'in the '60s partygoers sacked women' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'in' is within the answer.
''60s' could be 's' and 's' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'gers' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for singers that I've seen before include "Choristers" , "See 26" , "Vocalists" , "eg Tenors" , "Chorus" .)

I've seen this clue in The Guardian.
