In the USA, say, with team (9)
I believe the answer is:
stateside
'in the usa' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'say with team' is the wordplay.
'say' becomes 'state' (synonyms).
'with' is a charade indicator (letters next to each other).
'team' becomes 'side' (both can mean a sports team).
'state'+'side'='STATESIDE'
(Other definitions for stateside that I've seen before include "in America" , "In the US" .)
