Intended money to lose direction (6)
I believe the answer is:
fiance
'intended' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'money to lose direction' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'money' could be 'c' and 'c' is present in the answer.
'direction' could be 'ne' (NE is an example) and 'ne' is found within the leftover letters.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for fiance that I've seen before include "One waiting to go to match" , "who may be planning marriage" , "The man she's engaged to" , "Prospective groom" , "Man engaged to marry" .)
