It's inclined to give shelter (4-2)
I believe the answer is:
lean-to
'shelter' is the definition.
(I know that lean-to is a type of shelter)
'it's inclined' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'inclined' could be 'leant' (I've seen this before) and 'leant' is found in the answer.
A single letter 'o' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'to give' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for lean-to that I've seen before include "Rough shelter lying against the wall of a building" , "Attached outbuilding" , "Type of shed" , "On late (anag)" , "Building with roof resting against larger building (4, 2)" .)
