John's rabbit? (3)
I believe the answer is:
This clue is a double definition.
'john's' is the first definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'rabbit?' is the second definition.
(I have seen 'Female rabbit ' mean 'doe' so perhaps 'rabbit' could also mean 'doe')
(Other definitions for doe that I've seen before include "Female kangaroo" , "Mummy rabbit" , "Female hare" , "A female deet" , "Feminine counterpart of stag" .)
