Journeyed round the world perhaps (7)
I believe the answer is:
orbited
'journeyed' is the definition.
The answer and definition can be both to do with motion as well as being past participle verbs.
Perhaps you can see an association between them that I don't see?
'round the world perhaps' is the wordplay.
'round' becomes 'orbit' (I've seen this before).
'the world perhaps' becomes 'ed' (I am not sure about this - if you are sure you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'orbit'+'ed'='ORBITED'
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for orbited that I've seen before include "Travelled on circular path like satellite" , "Moved like curved path of planet" , "Went around" , "Travelled in curved path like planet" , "Followed circular path like planet" .)
