Le Monde article has right to attack (4)
I believe the answer is:
desk
'attack' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot see how one could define the other.
I don't understand how the rest of the clue works.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for desk that I've seen before include "Place for writing or serving the public" , "Hotel counter; newspaper section" , "Flat surface for doing paper work" , "Office workplace" , "Table for writing, reading etc" .)
