I believe the answer is:

list price

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'recommended fee' is the definition.
The definition and answer can be both related to property as well as being singular nouns.
Perhaps there's an association between them I don't understand?

'lean putting pressure on grain' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'lean' could be 'list' (both can mean to tilt) and 'list' is located in the answer.
'pressure' could be 'p' (scientific abbreviation) and 'p' is located in the answer.
'grain' could be 'rice' (rice is a kind of grain) and 'rice' is located in the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

'to get' acts as a link.

(Other definitions for list price that I've seen before include "RRP" , "What manufacturer says is the cost of an item" .)

I've seen this clue in The Daily Express.
