Learner isn't turning one letter around for composer (5)
I believe the answer is:
liszt
'for composer' is the definition.
(Franz Liszt)
'learner isn't turning one letter' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'learner' could be 'l' (as in a learner driver with L-plates on their car) and 'l' is located in the answer.
'one' could be 'i' (Roman numeral) and 'i' is found in the answer.
'letter' could be 'z' and 'z' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'st' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'around' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for liszt that I've seen before include "Franz -, Hung. pianist" , "He scored" , "Composer of the Hungarian Rhapsodies" , "Pianist and composer Cockneys associate with Brahms" , "Hungarian piano virtuoso, d. 1886" .)
