Crossword Genius

Like an aged person with a round figure? (7)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

hundred

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'a round figure?' is the definition.
The definition and answer can be both quantities as well as being singular nouns.
Maybe they are linked in a way I don't understand?

'like an aged person' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'person' could be 'hun' (Hun is an example) and 'hun' is present in the answer.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).

'with' is the link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for hundred that I've seen before include "C in Roman numerals" , "cricketing achievement" , "Century" , "so many others" , "Old part of county" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
