Like piano music? (4)
I believe the answer is:
soft
'like piano' is the definition.
'soft' can be an answer for 'piano' (I've seen this in another clue). I am not certain of the 'like' bit.
'music?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'music?' could be 'so' (as in do re mi fa so la ti) and 'so' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for soft that I've seen before include "Giving little resistance" , "Velvety" , "Cushy, not tough" , "Not hard, rough or harsh" , "Lenient; not coarse" .)
