Listen to the complete record in attempt to reach balanced view? (4,4,5)
I believe the answer is:
hear both sides
'attempt to reach balanced view?' is the definition.
'listen to the complete record' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'listen' could be 'hear' (I've seen this before) and 'hear' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'in' is the link.
(Other definitions for hear both sides that I've seen before include "as good judges do" , "Listen to all the LP" .)
