Lovely, large shed for one working land (7)
I believe the answer is:
peasant
'lovely' is the definition.
The answer and definition can be both people as well as being singular nouns.
Maybe there's a link between them I don't understand?
'large shed for one working land' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'one' could be 'an' (an apple is one apple) and 'an' is located in the answer.
'land' could be 'east' (East is an example) and 'east' is located in the leftover letters.
A single letter 'p' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for peasant that I've seen before include "Poor country worker" , "Rustic fellow" , "Bumpkin" , "Revolting person" , "Poor smallholder" .)
