Mad about problem surfacing shortly (5,3,4)
I believe the answer is:
round the bend
'mad' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'about problem surfacing shortly' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'about' could be 'round' (round can mean around or about) and 'round' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for round the bend that I've seen before include "Crazy (informal)" , "Mad - crazy" , "Crackers" , "Nuts" , "hidden from view?" .)
