I believe the answer is:
silent treatment
'manipulative behaviour' is the definition.
'silent treatment' can be an answer for 'behaviour' (silent treatment is a kind of behaviour). I am not certain of the 'manipulative' bit.
'you listen' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
an anagram of 'listen' is 'silent' which is within the answer.
The remaining letters 'treatment' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
