March in Paris, from out of Paris (6)
I believe the answer is:
demode
'out of paris' is the definition.
'demode' can be an answer for 'out' (I've seen this before). I am not certain of the 'of paris' bit.
'march in paris from' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'march' could be 'demo' (as in a demonstration) and 'demo' is found within the answer.
'from' could be 'e' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'e' is found within the answer.
A single letter 'd' remains which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for demode that I've seen before include "Old fashioned in France" , "Old-fashioned - in France" .)
