Marks, Jos and Russells? (6)
I believe the answer is:
brands
'marks' is the definition.
('brand' can be a synonym of 'mark')
'jos and russells?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'and' could be 'n' (common abbreviation for 'and') and 'n' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'brads' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

(Other definitions for brands that I've seen before include "Makers' names or trademarks" , "Trade marks or particular makes of goods" , "Trade marks, classifications of goods" , "Names given to products and services" , "Marks with hot iron" .)
