Metallic drink container in Victoria (5)
I believe the answer is:
tinny
'metallic' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'drink container in victoria' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'container' could be 'tin' (tin is a kind of container) and 'tin' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'ny' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for tinny that I've seen before include "With thin metallic sound" , "appear so badly constructed?" , "Lacking resonance" , "Shoddy" , "Made of poor metal" .)
