Might one be servant from taverns? (7)
I believe the answer is:
anagram
'servant from taverns?' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I can't see how they can define each other.
'might one be' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'one' could be 'an' (an apple is one apple) and 'an' is located in the answer.
'be' could be 'am' and 'am' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
