I believe the answer is:

maestri

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'conductors' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'mother's blunder mostly taking in european' is the wordplay.
'mother's' becomes 'ma's' (ma can mean mother).
'blunder' becomes 'trip' (trip is a kind of blunder).
'mostly' means to remove the last letter (most but not all of the word).
'taking' means one lot of letters goes inside another.
'in european' becomes 'e' (abbreviation e.g. EU. I am not sure about the 'in' bit.).
'mas'+'trip'='mastrip'
'mastrip' with its last letter taken off is 'mastri'.
'mastri' going around 'e' is 'MAESTRI'.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for maestri that I've seen before include "masters" , "Experts" , "Famous conductors" , "leading musicians" , "Top conductors" .)
