Move troops around border area (5)
I believe the answer is:
march
I believe this is a quadruple definition!!
'move' is the first definition.
(I know that march is a more specific form of the action the walk)
'troops' is the second definition.
The definition and answer can be both groups as well as being singular nouns.
Perhaps you can see a link between them that I don't see?
'around' is the third definition.
(thesaurus)
'border area' is the fourth definition.
'march' can be an answer for 'border' (term for a border eg the Welsh Marches). I'm not certain of the 'area' bit.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for march that I've seen before include "Military walk; month" , "Month - proceed" , "Walk formally in step with others" , "Parade" , "Moving demonstration" .)
