Moved to another place and read out aloud (2-5)
I believe the answer is:
re-sited
'moved' is the definition.
Both the answer and definition are adjectives.
Maybe there's a link between them I don't understand?
'another place and read out aloud' is the wordplay.
'another' becomes 're' (I've seen this in other clues).
'place' becomes 'sit' (sitting is a kind of placing).
'and' means one lot of letters go next to another.
'read out aloud' becomes 'ed' (I can't explain this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
're'+'sit'+'ed'='RE-SITED'
'to' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
