I believe the answer is:

biceps

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'muscular upper' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot see how one could define the other.

I can't explain the rest of the clue.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for biceps that I've seen before include "I bend the elbow" , "Upper-arm muscle" , "Weightlifters use them" , "One operating arm" , "Flexor muscle" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
