I believe the answer is:

mime

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'musical' is the definition.
(thesaurus)

'note in two forms in marceau's work' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'note' could be 'mi' (as in 'do re mi') and 'mi' is present in the answer.
The remaining letters 'me' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for mime that I've seen before include "Acting dumb?" , "Dumb show" , "Silent artform" , "Silent acting" , "Wagnerian role?" .)

I've seen this clue in The Sun.
