'musical sound' is the definition.
'wah wah' can be an answer for 'sound' (I have seen 'Sound of Music' mean 'wah wah' so perhaps 'sound' could also mean 'wah wah'). I'm not certain of the 'musical' bit.
I don't understand the rest of the clue.
