I believe the answer is:

semolina

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'pudding' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'nip out leaving minneapolis in conveyance' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'in' is found in the answer.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).

'to find' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for semolina that I've seen before include "Wheat used for milk puddings" , "Hard grains of wheat in puddings and pasta" , "Hard particles of wheat used in puddings etc" , "One's mail (anag.)" , "A lemon is used in the pudding, strangely" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
