Crossword Genius

Nor fair to a Moebius strip? (3-5)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

one-sided

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'strip?' is the definition.
Both the definition and answer are adjectives. Maybe you can see an association between them that I can't see?

'nor fair to a moebius' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'a' could be 'one' and 'one' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'sided' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for one-sided that I've seen before include "Unfair or partisan - single dimension?" , "So denied being partisan or unfair" , "Partial" , "Unfair or uneven" , "Unfair, unequal" .)

I've seen this clue in the Sydney Morning Herald.
