Not much to pay to prowl around on the rink (3,5)
I believe the answer is:
low price
'on the rink' is the definition.
I don't know anything about this answer so I cannot judge whether this works.
'not much to pay to prowl' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
an anagram of 'prowl' is 'lowpr' which is within the answer.
The remaining letters 'ice' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'around' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
