Not to be found in a minute (3,3,6)
I believe the answer is:
off the record
'not' is the definition.
Both the answer and definition are adverbs. Perhaps you can see a link between them that I don't see?
'a minute' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'minute' could be 'record' (e.g. during a meeting) and 'record' is found in the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'to be found in' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for off the record that I've seen before include "unprintable" , "Where the rejected tracks are kept" , "Sub rosa" , "Deleted from disc" , "Where unreleased tracks are" .)
