NS, DP etc baffled stepsister (7)
I believe the answer is:
setters
'ns' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are plural nouns, I don't understand how one could define the other.
I don't understand how the remainder of the clue works.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for setters that I've seen before include "Long-haired gun dogs" , "eg Scottish, Gordon and 18" , "Canine" , "Crossword compilers" , "people like me" .)
