(I know that go along is a more specific form of the action progress)

'objective' becomes 'goal' (goal can mean an objective or purpose).
'playing' becomes 'on' (on can mean playing or performing).
'golf' becomes 'g' (phonetic alphabet: alpha, bravo, charlie etc.).
'goal'+'on'+'g'='GO ALONG'
