Old-fashioned, as Murdoch is? (6,3,5)
![Ross](/clue/static/ross-mug.min.png)
I believe the answer is:
behind the times
'old-fashioned' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'as murdoch is?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'as' could be 'in' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'in' is found within the answer.
'is?' could be 'be' and 'be' is found within the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for behind the times that I've seen before include "As was one News Iinternational" , "with paper covering" , "John Walter was, originally" , "square- with 4a" , "Old hat" .)
