On the same pitch as rough boy in college (2,6)
![Ross](/clue/static/ross-mug.min.png)
I believe the answer is:
in unison
'on the same pitch as rough' is the definition.
I can't judge whether this defines the answer.
'boy in college' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'boy' could be 'son' (synonyms) and 'son' is found in the answer.
'in' is within the answer.
'college' could be 'uni' (short for university) and 'uni' is located in the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for in unison that I've seen before include "All speaking or singing as one" , "All speaking or singing at the same time" , "All singing the same notes" , "All together at the same pitch" , "Simultaneously" .)
