On the way home, model-type executed pose (2,7)
I believe the answer is:
in transit
'on the way' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'home model-type executed pose' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'home' could be 'in' (to be in is to be (at) home) and 'in' is located in the answer.
'model' could be 'sit' (e.g. for a painting) and 'sit' is found in the answer.
'executed' could be 'ran' (running is a kind of executing) and 'ran' is found within the answer.
A single letter 't' remains which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for in transit that I've seen before include "on the wagon?" , "while travelling" , "Being transported" , "While being conveyed" , "during journey" .)
