One of those in Dublin Airport is a double for an artist from the Venetian school (6)
![Ross](/clue/static/ross-mug.min.png)
I believe the answer is:
titian
'artist from the venetian school' is the definition.
'titian' can be an answer for 'artist' (Titian is an example). I'm not certain of the 'from the venetian school' bit.
'one of those in dublin airport is a double for an' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'one' could be 'an' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'an' is located in the answer.
'an' could be 'i' (Roman numeral for one) and 'i' is located in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for titian that I've seen before include "Painter of 16th century" , "Italian 16th-century painter" , "Sixteenth century Venetian painter" , "Italian Old Master and hair-colour" , "It. painter, famous for redheads" .)
